Biography
The original FD assembled in 1997 in out-of-the-way Russian city Cherepovetz. But since 1997 many things such as music stylistic and crew have changed. So new FD's timeline was started in January 2001 it was the time when guys with different musical tastes and their own ideas gathered together to make music.
We composed new stuff for year and worked it off during shows and fests. In spring 2002 guitar player “Venja” left FD. His place was taken by “JD” besides he was fond of sound recording so his first real big work as a sound director was the 1 st FD album named “Inevitability”. This album was released by Moscow label “CD-Maximum” in spring 2003. “Inevitability” represented classic Death-Metal music style.
Then we started touring activity around Russian North-West ( Vologda , Yaroslavl ', Arkhangel'sk, St.-Petersburg e.t.c.) in some of the shows we were warming up famous Austrian band “Pungent Stench” and received sweet reaction from them at their official web-site and in “Dark City” magazine. When we conquered country-side we started to reach stages of Moscow and St.-Petersburg clubs but it wasn't so easy due to missing of suitable advertising and some superstitions.
In 2004 FD lost its guitar player and founder Alexej Badanin. We decided to stay in number of 4 men because there wasn't any suitable person for the second guitar. But this fact hasn't influence on our development.
We continued touring in Russia and Byelorussia and in summer of 2005 we were invited to “Metal Heads Mission Fest” ( Ukraine ) which headliners were Cenotaph and (holy cow) Napalm Death. FD received huge awesome reactions and came back to Russia then.
In Russia we were offered a contract from St.-Petersburg label “Kap-Kan”. Our second album “One Way Trip” was composed in MetalCore style using electronics and one more detail - most of the songs is in Russian language (the whole first album was in English).
In 2005 we removed to St.-Petersburg where a new member (keyboards) joined us in 2006.
